Escondido, CA – Introducing Columbo the Great! He is a handsome polish rooster who was found abandoned and brought into the shelter before he was eaten by a predator, hit by a car, or tortured by evil humans. Columbo is surprisingly tolerant of handling, allowing gentle interactions without fuss and calmly accepting attention from those he trusts.
He is a proud, typical rooster with a confident strut and a watchful eye over his flock. True to his nature, he greets each day with an enthusiastic crow and spends his time keeping order in the yard, always alert to what's going on around him. His mix of classic rooster attitude and easygoing manners makes him both an impressive and endearing companion.
He is an adorable rooster who urgently needs a nice home. He is looking for a new home where he will NEVER be killed, protected from predators, taken to the vet when sick or injured, and well-cared for and loved as a pet and fellow family member. Please consider opening your heart to him, and providing him a happy, no-kill, forever home he deserves!
